I am a political science and European studies researcher with a particular interest in public governance, European Union policy-making, and institutional adaptation processes. My academic background spans political science, international relations, law, and economics, allowing me to approach complex policy challenges from interdisciplinary perspectives.
During my studies, I have focused on topics such as governance systems, sustainability policies, European integration, small state governance, and brain drain dynamics. I am especially interested in how public institutions design, adapt, and implement policies in rapidly changing political and economic environments.
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong qualitative research skills, particularly in policy analysis, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews. My undergraduate thesis explored the governance-related causes of brain drain in Turkey, while my graduate work has focused on European Union policy frameworks and their implementation at national levels.
I believe that good research connects theory with real-world problems, and that studying policy-making processes is essential to understanding the challenges societies face today. My ongoing academic interests continue to evolve around questions of how governments manage complex transitions, whether in the field of sustainability, migration, or governance reform.
This website is a space where I share my research interests, academic work, and occasional reflections on governance and public policy.
